Reduce the use of plastic bags
Plastic bags had caused the land to be polluted as most of the plastic bags are non-degradable after it is used. Some of them are dumped into landfills and resulted in the death of many sea creatures. One example is the turtle. Its population is decreasing due to the excessive use of plastic bags by human. The turtle would regard the dumped plastic bags as food as the plastics bags would sometimes be shaped like a ball or even a piece of dead fish.
A Bruneians and a community of the world, we need to stand strong in face of the enemy that is only to “SAY NO” to unnecessary plastic bags offered to you. To show good examples to other members of the community, show that you yourself are willing to stop and prevent the usage and wastage of plastic bags.
The better ultimate solution would be to bring your own canvas bag or groceries bags from home everytime you go for shopping or even buying some groceries from the marketplace.
If we environmental heroes band together, remember that we can make a difference to Brunei and to the rest of the world. Save what we have and love in Brunei Darussalam and induldge ourselves in a country of free-pollution.
