Why graffiti?
Why graffiti? Graffiti is part of vandilising the government’s property and is an inappropriate way to express your feelings. These acts are not only dirtying public places but also sometimes bringing misconception and misinterpretation from public viewers. VanceTan.com covers the photographs taken during a visit to the residential area (close to the footbal field) where KB people often jog.

Two more months to go

The intense wait is almost there in two more months! Vance Tan Online™ proudly presents the day whereby we are celebrating the 3rd Anniversary since its launch on 8th August 2007, coincided with Muii Hamdani’s b’day. I’m not sure what events will come up, but Muii suggested something memorable, a cleaning campaign at the beach perhaps? Well, it is something to do with saving the environment and it must be fun.

Pandanku Sayang: An event which was officiated on Sunday. The event will take place during this final week of the school holiday and has varieties to view. People have been dying to visit the carnival as it opens until 12 midnight since Sunday. A wide range of games include arranging flowers, making ambuyat and many more traditional activities to ignite the sparks and let our youth know the local tradition.

Health Talk with Vance Tan: Acne not just teens!
Although it seems to be a teenage problem during puberty, acne surely begins there, but it may persist till a person reaches maturity. Most of the teenagers, will surely develop acne problems, when examined closely, especially during events of stressed out situations like having an examination.
Usually, acnes are caused by the changing and fluctuating amount of hormones in a teenager’s body, causing the skin to get oily and sometimes sticky. Under certain conditions, the sebaceous glands of the skin secretes too much oily substances to prevent over-evaporation of the skin surface water. However, an increase in the bacteria causing acne may develop a type of fungus as time delays.
Such blockages may also cause the development and appearance of small black and white pores often commonly known as black heads and white heads, developing over the nose or surfaces of the cheeks. These “heads” are easily removed by mechanical methods, needling it out using a blackhead remover or even the stickers available at your nearest pharmacy.
To avoid such occurrences of acnes, blackheads and whiteheads, teens should establish a routine of cleansing the faces to ensure that dirt does not clog the minute pores of their faces. As an addition to that, parents could also purchase sebum regulating ointments or medications to regulate the oiliness of the skin.

Can you beat the high score: Many people, mostly my friends, has been pestering me to try the new (well for me) “Make Your Own Quiz to See How Well Your Friends Know You” application on the well-known social website, Facebook. Then, I listened to their pesters, tried it out and these (image below) are some of the first four contestants.
Your addition to my Facebook account is highly appreciated and please do try out this wonderful, tricky quiz consisting of eight questions to keep track on how much you know about Vance Tan. Just to give you guys the hint for the first question, VanceTan.com is celebrating her 3rd Anniversary this coming 8 August 2009, and coincidently, it’s the birthday of Muii Hamdani, one of the directors of PJN Drama Organisation. *I just realised that when he told me*
