New drummer for kLip?

kLip Buzz: Peeps, there’s a new drummer for the Kuala Belait established band, kLip. This new drummer apparently is the big hit and driving force for the band’s new appearance.

The band’s new single, “SUPERHERO KOMIK” has been aired on Brunei’s Number One radio station, Pelangi FM with the Kuala Belait origin deejay, DJ Diddy. There has been interviews about them as well as of last 21st January 2010.

Creative Writing Workshop sees more talent

Participants from the “Bengkel Penulisan Kreatif” or “Creative Writing Workshop” started to warm up after the opening ceremony which took place yesterday at the Kampong Pandan Library in Belait District.

The first facilitator, Haji Zaini bin Haji Omar briefed the 27 participants on the how to stay motivated in facing all challenges to be an excellent creative writer. He also touched on his experiences when he was holding a post at the Brunei Shell Petroleum Company. Haji Zaini used a number of references for his slides, including famous writers such as Habiburrahman El Shirazy who authored novels such as “Ayat-Ayat Cinta”, “Ketika Cinta Bertasbih” Book 1 and “Ketika Cinta Bertasbih” Book 2.

Collect your slips

The result for Brunei Cambridge General Certificate of Education has been out since yesterday. If you have registered through SMS for DST and b.mobile users, you would have already received them by yesterday. As mentioned in the RTB News, students can now collect your slips from your respective schools by today (Monday).

If you’ve followed me on Facebook, you should have known how to collect your slips and the terms and conditions to follow, for those studying in SMPJNPHAB, Mumong.

The SEN Charity Event 2010 took place yesterday at The Oil and Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) in Seria yesterday. The event started from 9am and ended at 4pm. Multiple business consisting of small and medium enterprises participated in vendoring their products at the charity event to raise a fund for charity. There was colouring contest, face painting, cake selling and customised cars.
