Gerai Ramadhan at Kuala Belait’s Tamu Tudung Saji saw mainly teenagers, shopping for food and beverages, and helping out to sell the goods for their respective stalls.
Teenagers, quoting a local newspaper, are supposed to be involved in most of the recent activities around the country, as they are the “pengasas” or the future generations who will inherit the wonderful skills from their parents (the current generation).
According to one of the stallholders in stall 40, she said, ” We usually close around 6.30pm and are readily packed up by 7.00pm. We also break our fast here (the Gerai Ramadhan) once the Beduk for Sungkai and Azan is heard”, when asked by a representative from VanceTan.com.
