FD’s Farewell Part 2 & PJN Students celebrated final day

Vance Tan says: The Financial Director (FD)’s Farewell Party was a blast! It was filled with spirits of romance as the entertainers were really good at doing their duties: singing and dancing slowly to the music. Guests turned up, mostly amongst Brunei Shell staffs as well as close families of Marcel and his wife.
Anyway, I managed to visit PJN Pg Hj Abu Bakar Secondary School for a brief snapshot on what their final day at school was like. Unexpectedly, a lot turned up, which deserves applause. Yes, I know a lot of you will be reading this post to view the photos that I’ve taken, just scroll down for the full report.

PJN Students Last Day: Well, for this term only. Students poured in like a stream of fast flowing water, greeting each other and having fun. The teachers were busy as most of them had to sit for their examination to upgrade themselves to a higher salary or position. Mr. Tan, one of Brunei’s Biology teacher being nominated last year for producing excellent results, was seen studying his heap of notes, only giving a glance once in a while. The examination was so important, not only for him, but also many other teachers as this was their chance to upgrade themselves.
Friends are important! Being have a friend is one of the most important things in life, moreover if you have a passionate one. When we talk about passionate ones, they support you in whatever things you do, they attend any functions that you go, and they talk to you when you’re bored. They also smile and pose for the camera with you, and they accept you just the way you are.
There are times when we are in need of “real help”. We may have made a huge mistake and may be extremely depressed about it, even mixed feelings would come. That is the time to figure out whether your friend is truly supportive of you. A true friend will be more than happy to help us in these types of situation. This true friend will not gossip about us to other people but they will be there to offer advice and support.

Magic to Join Lakers in Finals: The Orlando Magic will battle the Los Angeles Lakers for the National Basketball Association title after defeating Cleveland 103-90 on Saturday in game six of the Eastern Conference finals.
Orlando’s “Superman” Dwight Howard poured in 40 points for the Magic, who are returning to the NBA finals championship series for the first time in 14 years.
“He was incredible,” Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy told reporters referring to Howard, who also had 14 rebounds. “I don’t know what else he could have done. He was fantastic.”
To get in the NBA finals, Orlando stunned Cleveland – the team with the best regular-season record in the league and Most Valuable Player LeBron James – four-games-to-two in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference finals.
The Magic will be making their first finals appearance since 1995, one year before Shaquille O’Neal departed as a free agent for Los Angeles.
Rashard Lewis added 18 points for the Magic, who hit 12 3-pointers in the victory.
“Total domination,” Lewis said of Howard’s performance.

The moment is here: Muhammad Afif bin Abu Bakar is now on Facebook! This is his first ever appearance on Facebook after a few invitations by his friends as well as his teachers.
This young lad has been a great sport throughout the years in his beloved, everlasting cherished school, Sekolah Menengah Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar and was a monitor in the classroom as soon as he stepped into the school. He emerged to a prefect in his second year, an assitant head prefect in his third year and a head prefect in his fourth year. For the fifth year, he resigned from the seat of being a head prefect with the reason of needing to concentrate with his studies.

Abdul Basit Al-Hassan’s birthday bash: This might be a birthday season, there are tons of birthday lately in May though I only got coverages of some of them. Well, recently, we’ve got the Abdul Basit Al-Hassan’s birthday.
